DMCA Policy

At TechDealReview.com (“TechDealReview,” “we,” “our,” “us”), we respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. This policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and how we handle those reports.

1) How to Send a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act for one and believe content on TechDealReview infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes all items below:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our site (a specific URL for each item).
  4. Your full name, mailing address, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Incomplete notices may not be processed.

2) Counter-Notification

If your content was removed or disabled due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal (the specific URL).
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, mailing address, and email address.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court for your judicial district (or, if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district in which TechDealReview may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their agent.

3) What Happens Next

  • When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we may remove or disable access to the reported material and notify the user who posted it.
  • If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant notifies us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the removed material.

4) Repeat Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances, and at our discretion, we may suspend or terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

5) Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. Please be sure you have a good-faith basis before filing.
