1) Independence and nonpartisan approach
We operate independently. We do not endorse political parties or agendas. Our goal is to give clear, fact-based information that helps you make better buying decisions. If we get something wrong, we correct it.
2) Evidence-first content
Accuracy comes first. We rely on hands-on testing, repeatable checks, primary sources, and reputable research. We link to original studies, release notes, and documentation when it helps you verify claims. We do not use anonymous or unverified sources to support product claims.
3) How we review and recommend
- Hands-on testing: We focus on real-world use, not just specs.
- Comparable metrics: When possible, we use the same tests across similar products.
- Price context: We track pricing history and value, not just MSRP.
- Updates: If a product changes through firmware or a new model replaces it, we revisit and update our guidance.
4) Transparency
We explain why a product is (or isn’t) a pick, what trade-offs exist, and who it’s for. We avoid jargon and show our sources so you can evaluate the reasoning.
5) Use of AI in our workflow
AI tools may assist with outlines, drafts, or data cleanup. Every AI-assisted piece is edited and fact-checked by our editorial team before publication. Final decisions are made by humans.
6) Advertising, affiliate links, and sponsorships
- No pay-for-play in reviews. Advertisers and partners do not control our picks or conclusions.

7) Google AdSense and safe browsing
We follow Google AdSense policies. We avoid deceptive practices, misleading claims, and unsafe links. We aim for a secure, trustworthy reading experience.
8) Product samples and conflicts of interest
We buy many products ourselves. At times we may receive loaner units from manufacturers or PR firms. Acceptance of a sample never guarantees coverage or a positive review. We do not allow pre-publication approval. If a material connection exists, we disclose it.
9) Corrections and updates
